It's been a difficult adjustment, but I already realize how worth it it is! The folks here are amazing, as you can tell by all the responses and recipes. My biggest hurdle has been breakfast. At first I was having fruit and starchy veges for breakfast. I was tired and hungry and plain miserable all day, no matter how much meat I ate throughout the day. Lately I've been having a burger in the am - no kidding! Just plain, no bun or condiments. I feel so satisfied and well, normal. A couple hours after that I will have my fruit and starchy veges, but as a snack. I deal with it much better that way and feel like I'm getting the best of both worlds. Someone mentioned the Foreman grill - definately worth the $25! There's also a lot of great recipes on this site. Good luck and keep the faith!
