In Response To: for "meat," read "red meat" - common sense (^heidi^ O+ ns iNFj)
I do think that passage is misleading. It can be taken different ways...and perhaps those who come to the diet as meat eaters, would readily believe the term "meat" meant only "red meat". I can't see how the leap could be made to call eatting fish and chicken being "totally vegetarian".
As you must talk to Peter alot could you ask him for sure what he meant by "giving up all meats"? To me the plural ending on the word "meats" sounds like he means all classes of meat. I would also like to know what was meant by "totally vegetarian". Maybe he should have said, "almost vegetarian" if meant for A's to eat fish and chicken.
