omega 3 supplementation

If you don't eat much vegetable oil or trans fats (or foods containing them) and the salmon you eat are wild, not farm raised, you may not need to supplement with flax or fish oil. Grass fed beef and buffalo also have plenty of omega 3. But commercial, feed lot beef and farm raised salmon do not have as much omega 3 and have much more omega 6. If you usually eat this type of meat, then flax or fish oil supplementation may be a good idea.
