In Response To: sharing my energy (BRIAN O+ SECRETOR)

I am a Humanities student right now, and all that that really means is that i have a "rational" excuse to delve into my mind (although i do it anyway).
since you are on the topic of "light", or so it seems, tell me the function/necessity of "dark".. just the other day i had a "thing" about darkness and pain that made them seem rational, necessary, and spiritual, but i can't remember it.
Afterall, we must kill to eat. Pain hurts. Most of us avoid pain, innately. Why? If I must eat dead things, and it is acceptable and natural and beneficial, how do i view pain and how would i rationalize, to myself, the killing of my own meat, rather than the slaughterer i hire (in my 'fee')? As much as i know, or feel, deeply that i need meat, i still question whether i could kill for myself.
What are your thoughts? Anyone?

This is an annoying issue to me. If we are searching for the loving light, this light, would it cause us pain?
