Welcome!!! Yes, it certainly smoothes the way if the whole family is one blood type!
Butter beans are the beans out of what we call "wax beans" (in the pod). Wax beans look like string beans, but are fatter and yellow.
It's not a listed item, but it would be neutral if it were listed, in my unscientific opinion. Anyway, non-listed items can be considered neutral if one isn't following the diet to lose weight or resolve illness.
