I was also confused about Seltzer Water

Funny, I was just talking with my type O mother about this same confusion. I'm in Canada and there is a definate terminology difference when it comes to drinks.

Coke and 7-Up are called "Soda" in the US, whereas in Canada we call it "pop". I think that carbonated water is called Seltzer Water in the US and in Canada it is called Soda Water/Club Soda.

If I'm right in my thinking, Seltzer water is the basis of pop before all the crap is added to it. So you can buy it in the big bottles like you can Pop/Soda.

If I'm wrong, someone please let me know. I notice it written under Type A separately as Soda (club) and Seltzer water. Now, I'm not sure sure that I'm right.

Help?
