In Response To: Find your secretor status... (kinobizen (a+, non-s))

Have you tried eliminating all gluten products (wheat, oats, rye, barley, spelt and kamut). I can eat a few non glutenous grains now but couldn't initially. Bbuckwheat for me is now the most agreeable. It was pretty much proteins and lots of vegetables and fish. There are lots and lots of vegetables to choose from so it isn't bad at all. Miso seems more digestable than say tofu. I have an A friend who has colitis and he claims Oil of Oregano by North American Spice Co has really helped him. He puts a few drops under his tongue. It was mentioned before that yoga is good and so is meditation. Maybe if you start slowly and really notice what agrees and what doesn't than just following the lists blindly. At first I just ate everything on the lists and when it didn't work fine tuned them and that did work. Sometimes too you can have a cleansing or detox reaction, which can be deceiving, because the diet is working and you think it isn't -- its just cleaning out the old junk you7've been storing.
