The MN description of "hybrid vigor" sparked a thought when I saw Jim's A(o) status. I thought of Peter's recent comments on Ao v. Aa, and how all blood types express a small amount of H antigen, more if there is a recessive gene.... I wonder if that H antigen is protective in some way.
"hybrid vigor" is inappropriate to that structure, I suppose. It was just a thought. %-}
