just in case, i would like to clarify something

i am talking about a pre-soaking, meaning soaking the raw grain. the grain can be in the form of flour(for waffles, bread, etc.) or cracked bits and pieces. this hydrates oats for oatmeal beforehand so actually reduces the cooking time to about 5 minutes, though rice, millet, and quinoa still take full length. spelt's cooking time is reduced substantially too. modern celiac disease(in my opinion) can be ascribed to hasty preparations of grains, so they are indigestible and wear on the digestive system.
