got mine yesterday too!

In Response To: The plane! The plane! (Edna O+)

I got home from doing some Christmas shopping yesterday afternoon and my book was here! (this thyroid med. really works, I was out for 4.5 hours and generally would have been totally wiped out in 1/2 that time!)

I have to add my kudo's to Dr. D on this one... excellent stuff. And for Edna and other O's, here's a few tidbits from the "O" food lists that sort of jumped out at me; and overall I hope I'm a secretor.

Leeks are now avoid (instead of HB)
Pinto beans also now avoid (instead of HB)... have to figure out what to put in my chili next time I make some.
Cucumber = avoid (I love cuke with tuna...drat!)
cabbage and eggplant now neutral *if* I'm a secretor, which is a good thing, adds to the choices!
More fruit choices! Though kiwi is an avoid (not a biggie for me.)
and last but not least, if a secretor, cinnamon and vanilla go from avoid to neutral. And the whole adrenaline / coffee bit has convinced me I have to give that up.

Thank you again, Dr. D.!

Cia
