pretty grodey thread, eh? LOL
for me, thank goodness, all that gastro-intestinal stuff doesn't happen. But I can't even have a glass of milk without clogging up my throat and mouth big time. Abbie, now 12, plastered herself with her breakfast when she was about a year old: milk soaked corn flakes. her brother thought it was a big laugh, until she started crying. Every place a corn flake had been, was a big red welt. Dunno if it was the milk or the corn, but we've been cautious about dairy ever since.
It's rice milk for this family. But hey, I get a little bit cloggy with that stuff, too. Once a week, with some kind of cereal or other *not* corn flakes! ;-)
