I looked in CR4YT also, hoping to find something on the 'lectin in pepper' vs. 'peppercorns are neutral' issue. I also did not find anything more than ER4YT had. So I will follow the same lead as you and use fresh ground pepper on an occasional basis. Unless I find it bothers me.
Too bad for me in that I usually feel no different when eating avoids. The only difference I can detect is unwanted weight gain with wheat, corn, sesame, buckwheat, and barley. I really wish I was as sensitive as some of the other people on this webpage. It would really help me to know when something I eat has hidden avoids. Oh well, life goes on.
