I have found that I have trouble sleeping if I eliminate the grains and starchy veggies from my diet.
Try eating brown rice in the evening meal. It releases seratonin in the brain which helps the body to ease into sleep.
Other than that, I take L-Glutamine or L-Arginie 2-3 hours before bedtime (500 to 1500 mgs in capsules); or Valerium in capsule or tincture form.
