Hi Beth,
Check the ingredients in ultraclear to see if there are any hidden or otherwise
avoids, like anything to do with *corn*! Diflucan is a very strong drug, it may
or may not work, but I would try everything else, first. There are alot of
different anti-yeast programs out their and alternatives to getting rid of candida.
First eliminate any sugar of any kind from your diet (fruit too, for the first
couple of weeks), concentrate on protein, and the low-glycemic vegetables like
broccoli, kale, onions, leeks, celery, romaine lettuce, green peppers, radish,
etc. Garlic and onions help to kill yeast, as well as oil of oregano, pauduarco, olive leaf extract, caprylic acid, biotin, to name a few. It is
also important to populate with good bacteria, or probiotics every day. Being
very strict on the 0 diet and eliminating carbs except for vegetables will also
help tremendously for the time being.
Two good books are, "The Yeast Connection and The Woman", by William Crook, and
"The Body Ecology Diet", by Donna Gates. Edit both for proper blood type eating, though.
