Is a fig a fig; is a prune a plum?
Posted By: Lisa (O+) Date: Friday, 22 September 2000, at 7:30 p.m.
Does anyone know . . . what is the difference between a Black Mission fig and a Calimyrna fig? Also, I read hungrily in one of ^heidi^'s posts about dried italian plums. I went to whole foods and found dried prunes, but that's not the same is it? Or is it? (I was thinking the way that raisins are dried grapes.) Anyway, where does one find dried plums?
Many thanks from a grateful snacker!
