Linoleum is an avoid

Especially the kind with the metallic flecks in it..
Elena is right. I once lived in an area of Staten Island NY that in decades past had the appealing name of "Linoleumville." Apparently during the Civil War that part of Staten Island (or "Staaten" Island to Cocky and the "Bloedgroepdieet" bunch) grew temendous amounts of flax..
Makes me wonder if anyone ever ate linoleum during times of siege starvation, such as Leningrad during WWII...
