The writer of that article talked with me twice, each time for about an hour. She was, as I remember, pleasant enough, if a bit thick; with exchanges like this:
"What are the references for the anthropology timeline in the front of your book?"
"AE Mourant, J. Celsoe, William Boyd..."
"Well, I don't know if the medical editor is going to recognize those names. Anyone else?"
As far as I can tell, she used not a scintilla of any of the material we discussed, which made the whole interview a complete waste of my time -to me a bigger sin than her silly article.
Yet more people try the diet every day, and a percentage of them find that it is a comfortable start to a healthy lifestyle.
Either way it makes no damned difference, for any difference will always be damned.
