Tumeric is a spice that is a common ingredient in curry powder,
usually in combination with other herbs such as cayenne, garlic, cumin, onion.
(Curry is 'O'-k, but not 'A'-ok, because of the cayenne.)
Tumeric has antibacterial properties.
It has a beneficial effect on the liver, stimulating the flow of bile and the breakdown of dietary fats.
It's a potent anti-inflammatory.
How does 'curried' beef or chicken sound to you 'O's? :)
I'd rather eat my 'wonder drugs' in the form of food, than take a capsule, anyday!
(Preferably fresh over dried, if possible!)(Snails don't count! :)
Eddi (I'm Er4mt'A' & missing curry!) :)
