Hi Alex, your skin is your largest organ. It absorbs all sorts of things...I suppose the real answer to your question is whether FOR NOW you can use this cream on your face. It depends on a lot of factors - like how sick are you? (ARE you sick?), how long you've been working with the ER4YT principles, and how affected you are by avoids. For example, do you eat foods high in Vitamin A that give you a strong reaction? If the answer is yes, I would not use the cream on my face. I have found, in almost two years of working with ER, that the longer I avoided avoids and stuck to HBs, the more sensitive my body, including my skin, has become to the avoids. In the final analysis, your body will tell you what you need to do to make it comfortable. If your skin breaks out in a rash or other interesting symptoms when you use the cream, I think the answer would be quite clear. Speaking for myself, I have found that a lot of searching was necessary to find skin care products that were not irritating, including shampoos.
I haven't posted this recipe for a while, so it's probably time to do it again. I got it from a very generous soul on the B bulletin board and my skin totally loves it. It's also very easy to make...
Measure 6 Tbls. olive oil and 2 Tbls. lecithin into a small pot (not aluminum!) and heat gently until the lecithin dissolves into the oil. Take off the heat. Whisk briskly until you have a lot of yellowish bubbles in the pot. Slowly (this can't be emphasized enough) drop 1 cup of warmed water (good quality) into the oil mixture, beating furiously between each addition. I have used green tea for the last several batches, and I like it better than water, since GT is an HB. For Bs, the final addition is a teaspoon of Vitamin E oil. Os might like to add an HB essential oil (a few drops only). Sometimes I get to the end of the water and it all separates, but I have somehow found that putting it in the fridge overnight and then stirring it with a spoon in the morning (maybe two or three mornings) brings it all into a homogenous cream (!). It should be kept refrigerated until it's all gone.
Let us know what happens.
Love and light,
Janet
