In Response To: Tinnitis (Pixie O+)

I can't say exactly what is causing your tinnitis, but I suspect maybe you are detoxing. Don't give up! I've had tinnitis pretty much all my life BIG TIME--BIG ROARS! I've found that many of my avoids bring it on. I can control it to a large extent by not eating those avoids. Stress and fatique are factors for me, too, but I really attribute a lot of my serious tinnitis problems to diet based on the fact eating right seems to alleviate the symtoms BIG TIME!

Another thing, when I began a low-carbo/low-sugar diet for hypoglycemia, initially my tinnitis got remarkably worse. I was ready to quit because I was actually getting sick from all the noise. After staying with it for 14 or 15 days, all was quiet--Wow! I attributed the initial increase to my body sloughing off all those sugars that were so bad for me (or maybe even screaming for MORE SUGAR!!!--smile). (Now my problem is STAYING OFF those carbos and sugars--easier said than done sometimes.)
