The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 13
Type B Food Lists
Posted By: Rich (B+)
Hi ER4YT folks,
I checked out the Steve Shapiro website, www.er4yt.org, and found the food lists to be helpful. I was hoping that there would be some clinical expalantions of why foods are classified for our B type as they are, and found a "Reasons" link. However, Shapiro himself admitted is incomplete.
The "reasons" list had only a handful of entries where there was a description filled in for the three categories. I was surprised to find hundreds of avoids with no explanation at all. I believe it would greatly benefit Dr. D'Adamo and Mr. Shapiro if they aggresively pursued completing the list. Many of Dr. D's critics have accused him of making assessments for which there is no clinical evidence to back up his claims (partcularly regarding the danger of lectins). Therefore, a complete list of "reasons" would at least give the detractors some food for thought. Regards to all... Rich
