I thought of this last night and thought it was worth the post. If large amounts of tofu/soy is eaten then the consumption of "brain" proteins (sych as tyrosine, taurine) and fats (such as fish oils-DHA/EPA) will be reduced in the diet. This is a possible reason why the Japanese are saved from Alzheimer's and other neurological disorders.
Once again the blood type diet covers this. Simply include fish/safe (ABO) meats and your brain size will be fine. Remember the evolution of the early O's. The higher consumption of proteins/fats caused a significant growth in neural tissue.
It is vital that we don't lose track of the big picture when reading medical journals. Over the years of lecturing Doctors/Naturopaths I find one peice of infomation can lead the medical community astray. Over the years I have been caught up in a few however the bigger picture, and sturdy naturopathic philosophy has shown the way.
Regards,
Stephen.
