macrobiotic "cultured" vegetables

Does anyone know if macrobiotic "cultured" vegetables are considered
pickles on the diet. I am an A- and have been making and eating them
for months. They seem to help my digestion capabilities. I use Si sea
salt, daikon radish, carrots, and just recently switched the cabbage to
bok choy under pressure at room temp. for 1-4 days depending. No vinegar
of any kind, no preservatives, etc. Thanks
