In Response To: endometriosis and ER4YT (lauren)

Dear Lauren,

I had endometriosis and infertility for many many years. Five years ago I switched to near vegetarianism and acupuncture in order to cure myself. I made a BIG mistake with vegetarianism. As an O, I need meat to be healthy. I developed a big cyst on my left ovary while on a nearly vegetarian diet, while acupuncture, it seems, took care of the endometrial tissue between my bladder and my uterus. I've been on the O-diet for 7 months, lost weight (which I was desperately trying to keep on), my cycle is completely messed up (I only had 3 periods while on the diet), and yet I feel that I am doing the right thing. It may seem strange, but I believe that with time I'll be able to stabilyze my thyroid, my cycle, and my weight on this diet. I feel that I am going through a deep healing crisis now. My mood, my skin, my digestion are so much better on this diet. You may not experience the same scary deep healing crisis on ER. Everybody is different. But as a recovering from a near-vegetarianism O, I urge you to consider this diet. If you are an O, you need meat, and you don't need wheat and dairy. I know that for sure for myself, I think you'll discover it for yourself too. You are lucky you found this diet while you are still young and you have every chance to cure yourself of endometriosis on Dr.D's plan. If you tolerate oils, consider taking black current oil which Dr. D. recommended for an A-type endometriosis patient. Black current oil is well tolerated by all blood types it seems.

Good luck, don't be afraid to eat meat,

Olga (O+)

P.S. I don't feel I am in the position to give advise yet since I am having so many problems myself. I just don't want you to feel lonely. There are not so many women on this site who know about endometriosis.
