The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 12

Yes -- it's chronological Re: Russian Blood Types

In Response To: Russian Blood Types (Jim Y A+)

I was typed as Blood Group III in Russia (after they determined it they stamped it in my passport, by the way!), and as an "international" Blood Type B.

The Russian system makes sense in the evolutionary context, since it's chronological, i.e. the types are numbered in the order of their historic appearance:

I = O
II = A

So your "type 2" friend is an A... congratulations to her on finding out (or if you can manage "po-zdrav-lya-ju," you can try telling her that... the stress is on the third syllable!:)
