Two months ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I sought advice from my holistic doctor who put me onto The Eat Right Diet (as it's called in Australia). I followed the Type 'O' plan fairly rigidly and also cut out sugar, salt, red meat, caffeine, alcohol as decreed by various books on cancer.

After 2 months of chemotherapy treatment I am getting positive response, which is fine. The interesting thing is the "side effects". I have for a long time suffered with bronchial conditions and mucous buildup causing nose blockage at night, for example. That has now gone and I can breath freely at all times. I put that down to eliminating dairy products.

Also, since 1984, I have suffered with psoriasis on the hands, elbows and knees. As anyone with this condition will tell you, it goes up and down like the weather. You think it might be going but, there it is, a week later. I can verify that my psoriasis has vanished, not a sign for at least 4 weeks. What aspect of my new diet has made this dramatic improvement?
