I haven't read the book by Price "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration"-but I did attend an all day lecture reviewing much of his work. He was very BIG on raw butter and cream , cheese from grass fed (ecspecially spring/fall grass) cows. According to Price, primitive cultures consumed 10X the vitamins A and D than people living at Price's time (we consume even less today)--These vitamins-are only found rich ( vitamin A should not be consumed with beta carotene found in vegtables)in animal products-ecspecially cream, butter, shellfish and fish, cod liver oil, eggs, liver and organ meats, and insects ----So dairy was a BIG component of the diets of many of the primitive people he studied including the Masai and the long lived Hunza's. I believe that most of the groups ate cultured raw dairy which increased the enzyme content. Pottenger was the cat guy who found that cats died off on a cooked foods diet and thrived on raw milk and meat.
