I no energy after midmorning. If I take sea weed (kelp, dulse, or bladdarwrack), I have energy, but
- my muscles in my shoulder start to lock-up (as in gets rigid and hurts, which means, a lotta pain) plus I get pain in my mid-back to the point where I'm forced to quit taking the sea weed. (I get the same reaction when I eat peanuts.)
- after about 4 days, I wake up several hours early and can't go back to sleep.
- I retain fluids and end up in the bathroom literally 6+ times a night. That translates into no sleep and after a few days, I'm an emotional mess. The sleep depravation really hits me emotionally when I stop taking the weed. (Even taking the sea weed, it's usually mid-morning before I can get my rings on.)
I don't want to go on more drugs (I can NOT get off the ones I'm on), but I'm at a loss at what to do. I drink about 3 quarts of bottled water a day trying to flush out my system and get up early so I can work out 30 minutes before I go to work. (I can only work out every other day. My body seems to need a break to regroup.)
I'm taking stress Vit. B, Calcium, potassium, Milk Thistle, & Licorice DGL (as needed).
I'm open to suggestions. Probably the best help would be getting referred to a reliable doctor. I live near Houston, TX.
BTW, I have a regular doctor's appointment tomorrow, so any advice before then would be greatly appreciated. I've already been told my thyroid is below the normal range plus my hormones are low, so I know she'll talk more drugs.
