Pregnancy blood test

Had to laugh when you brought up the blood test for pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my second, I knew immediately, as in within a week. I went in for a blood test, and the doctor told me that no way could I possibly know that I was pregnant, but he took a blood sample anyway. Within a few days I got a hasty emergency message on my answering machine that yes I was indeed pregnant, and to please call the office at once! I told you so! Of course, I can't remember any more what it was that I could tell instantly.
