In Response To: Dairy is NOT a good source of calcium! (kenda (A))

Milk as it is manufactured in today's dairy factories can NOT be called a food. I would sooner drink...well, it's just icky, okay? I stopped drinking milk in liquid form (still use organic milk powder in *some* recipes) when I found out that there are legal allowable limits of PUS cells in regular supermarket milk. *shudder* BUT until very recently, I would eat ice cream...until my 11 y.o. daughter couldn't finish a bowl of ice cream because all of a sudden she thought of what is in milk and it "grossed her out!" L

We haven't had milk as a part of our family pantry for years.

Heidi
