In Response To: Non-secretor responses (Tony (A))
I like Barry's work, but the little article he wrote and forwarded to me did not contain any new information* which wasn't known already around these quarters. It was just new to Barry Sears. I think he is also searching for some means of explaining why some people don't do well on the Zone.
These 'subtypes' will be a section in LR4YT, which I've just begun writing. Unfortunately testing is not as easy as ABO, though we are working on a hometest which would measure the MN, P1 and Secretor types on a second card (ABO and Rh would remain on the first).
(Just back from two days vacation and overwhelmed already!)
*The literature has several reports of LeA+ (a blood type which can determine whether you are an ABH 'non-secretor') is linked with higher percentages of insulin resistance.
