I can't remember if this is in Dr. D's book or not, but my nutritionist told me that oranges and tangerines are "avoids" for Os because they're mucus-producing foods. This was a specific consideration for me, because one of the reasons I'm on the diet is to try and control my asthma, sinus and allergy problems. Tangerines are one of my favorite things in the whole world, but I've stopped eating them (along with the other "avoids") and can tell a significant improvement in my symptoms. Hope this answers your question!
