In Response To: hip pain, arthritis? (paula)

Hi Paula
I have a collapsed disc, L-5 also degenerative disc disease in neck, L3 & L4. It's partly age related and partly due to several accidents over past years.

I've been on the program 80% of the time for 2 years. My arithritic pain is 60% gone in back and hips. If I'm off the program too many days in a row as when I'm on vacation, the pain increases. I had to carry a pillow with me to resturants and everywhere. I haven't had to do that for over 18 months. I can sit on hard chairs without a lot of pain anymore. It's amazing. I noticed relief from pain in 2 1/2 weeks on the program. I thought it was my imagination at first. But the chiropratic treatments were cut way down along with the need for pain meds. It works. It's wonderful. I eat so differently then I did. I'm an O and was mainly semi vegetarin, pasta, yogart, cheese, no meat. It was a big life change but pain was a great incentive. And the reduction of pain is what keeps me going on the program. Good luck.
