I actually was on Chromium for a while, but believe or not I seemed to start having more sugar cravings. But I have a lot of other problems going on too, so although I'm sure sugar levels are probably involved, it all seems to be just part of a bigger syndrome that came on literally in a few hours.
Also, as for attacking on all fronts, I've been doing that for about a year now, mostly as a result of the type A diet. I began following the supplements and diet as per Dr. James D'Adamo, took up meditation, yoga, and started walking daily when I could handle it. A far cry from the 2-3 hours a day I used to work out before I got ill. Maybe that was part of the problem.
All this has brought about some improvement, but not too much. I haven't given up yet though, and I hope to be back to my old self someday soon. Especially if I get the opportunity to see Peter!
Thanks for the advice.
