I'm still new to the board and not quite sure of the protocal for giving advice, but I've had low blood sugar for years, and the physical effects it can have are amazing, from headaches to nausea to the shakes. I've been drinking licorice tea for a month and it really helps. Also, a lot of the type A foods you mention are really fast-acting carbs, like fruits and nuts and grains. Maybe if you try eating more slow foods - and not waiting until you're really hungry, too, because by then it can be too late - a lot of your symptoms will go away. This works for me as a B, but this system works great to help my type A (diabetic) father control his blood sugar, too.
