Type O Cold Remedies?

A friend of mine is an O with a NASTY cold.. he's been toying with the idea of going ER4YT, and I'd like to suggest something for his cold, but I'm unfamiliar with the O stuff (being an A that I am...) Steve? Peter? Anyone? Thanks!
