In Response To: Type O Questions. HELP!! (Brandan Thomas (O+))
Hi Brandon,
I have made pizza crust using a bisquit receipe -- subsitiuting spelt for regular flour. (This receipe also has no yeast -- I am avoiding yeast due to an intestinal yeast infection.) I usually bake the crust for about 8 minutes before putting on the toppings.
Sauce: I usually use either a can of tomato paste or tomato puree and sprinkle garlic, oregano, itallian seasoning, and salt on top to taste. That if followed by mozzarella cheese and any other toppings of choice. I then bake it in a 375 degree oven for an additional 10 minutes.
I really like this pizza. Some people think the spelt is too strong. Give it a try and enjoy!
