I'm finally finishing up with those phobias after a year and a half on the O diet. Since last September, I took the plunge and gradually increased my protien to the current 110 - 130 grams. My leaky gut may need more right now till it heals real well, and I'm pretty active and under weight, so it seems to be working nicely. I feel much better than I did as a "McDougalite", and I always admired Robbins but thought he looked gaunt and pale. (Bet he's an O.) I can't help but think that, having evolved in northern Europe, my ancestors ate higher protien and fat with shorter growing and fruiting seasons and colder climate.
I'll let you know if my kidneys kick the bucket, but I ain't turnin' back till I gain 10 lbs.!
