I do believe that a metabolically compatible diet such as er4yt and the Zone can make a big difference in overall health and brain function.
I'm sure some supplements can be helpful if needed.
However, I do not believe that ADD, depression, or other conditions labeled by the Mental Health System are "disease situations" that can be cured exclusively with food or supplements or drugs.
This is simply a way for practitioners and workers affiliated with the MHS, along with the pharmaceutical industry, to make megabucks.
There are many people who know that drugs are NOT the answer; who also know that food and supplements are not the whole answer. What is significantly left out in these discussion is the emotional factor and people really being there for each other. In a stressed-out out overworking society I guess this is quite understandable. Wouldn't it be nice if we could find a magical cure strictly through food or supplements? As important as these are, the truly human factor is the other necessary ingredient, just having someone really listening to you on a regular basis and you doing the same for them, equally.
