I have the same thing. Interestingly enought I also have "delayed" reactions to uncultured milk products as well. So I use goat milk and feta cheese from sheep's milk. My husband says that I must have been such a committed "hindu" in my last lifetime that I've insured that I would continue to abstain from harming cows in this lifetime. My doctor has suggested that ostrich be substituted as a red meat. Have you tried it? I'm still grappling with this whole animal flesh thing... Saw the ads for Dr. Doolittle and they made me wonder if there are many of us that could slaughter an animal if it could look at us and beg us not to kill it??? Maybe if we limited to eating carnivores and gave the grazers a break...
