Sorry to hear about your brother. I used to suffer from hypothyroidism. My feet would swell and I felt listless all the time. Once I eliminated the cabbage (which I used to consume a lot of, along with corn, pork and dairy), I felt much better. Can his doctor prescribe an iodine-rich diet, or can he start taking a B complex to see what happened. Please get back to me, I am genuinely concerned.
