Sleepless In Oklahoma

Good morning all

I had something kinda weird happen a couple of weeks ago and wondered if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

I started this way of eating for life around Sept/Oct and got immediate results. I did pretty good until December and fell off the bandwagon in a big way. Anway, I started slowly back in January and about the third week in January went to 100% compliance (no grains either as they seem to bother me). Anyway in a one week's time I stayed up for 24 hours straight, not just once, but twice. Was not the least bit sleepy, didn't have a headache or anything - I just could not go to sleep. I also didn't seem to suffer any effects from the two days of staying up for 24 hours. Anyway, I went back to about 70 - 80% compliance after that and the sleep returned. Has anyone out there had this experience? Or, can anyone explain why this happened. I have not gone back to 100% since then as the closer I get to 100%, the less sleep I seem to be able to get.

Thanks in advance for any insights or responses to this question.
