I thought it was simply a typo, and that if you suffer from low thyroid function then it is best to stay away from these goitregens and broccoli is one of them as soy can be too. Replace your broccolli with sea vegetables until your thyroid is rebalanced and is operating at optimum function. If your hyperthyroid which is also common with type O's then I believe you incorporate the brassica family of vegetables in there(goitregens). I hope this corresponds with Dr.D's appraisal as it seems to work for me. Regards Annie
