The day I met ER4YT, I was in the grocery store, when the lady that worked in the health food section walked up to me and said, "Oh my goodness, you are just full of toxins!" I was so stunned, as this was a pretty forward statement, not to mention rude and somewhat cruel, I didn't say anything. I couldn't even breath, from the shock.
"I mean, from your skin I can tell that your system is way out of whack!" She was not gaining any points with me! Already very self conscious because of my weight, but she was right, my acne meds had stopped working and the cyctic acne was worse than ever. She did take the time to talk about why she said what she did and spoke of the ER4YT lifestyle. I bought the book that day.
The changes I have made in the past three weeks have been fairly minute, because my cabin is full of avoids, but I am making changes as I buy new things. And, although not completely clear skinned yet, for the most part the cystic ance is almost gone.
So yes, I think what we eat does directly affect our skin, so naturally, as we eat better, our bodies get healthier, I think our skin gets healthier too!
