In Response To: Semolina pasta for type A ? (Glenn)
Hey Glenn- There have been posts on this board in response to that very question in the past. The good Doctor has revised his evaluation of Semolina to be a neutral for A's as long as the user is in good health, and in limited quantity...
The one to stay away from is Durum (or whole durum) pasta.. You will find that most Semolina pasta is listed on its ingredients as Durum Semolina. WHAT??? Yes, I know, its confusing. Just take comfort in knowing that as long as Semolina is listed as part of the name, then for some, it is OK.
The ultimate message is "do what feels right" for you. If eating semolina pasta doesn't have any immediate, adverse affects, then ENJOY! Some of us cannot have ANY wheat based pastas at all, Durum, Semolina or otherwise without nasty effects!
here's to your health! Adrian
