I have a beef allergy. The only beef I ate after 13 years of vegetarianism was locally grown, free range, organic and of the highest quality. (I got it directly from the farm, so I was able to tour the operation.) But I eventually felt lousey after I'd eat it. Then I found out I had a mild IgE allergy to it. Bummer! - 'cause the stuff was gooooood. Anyway, I started mail-ordering free-range buffalo - tastes the same only leaner. (Although it's supposed to be fairly hypo-allergenic, I seem to be intolerant or allergic to that as well, but then I have really bad leaky gut to heal.) I can give you the names of the mail-order places if you're interested (one in the east - reasonably priced, and one in the west - expensive).
I personally seem to best on lamb as my red meat. I try to come by venison whenever possible - I've mail ordered ranch-raised that's pretty good but expensive.
Try not to be discouraged. I little (alot, sometimes) persistance pays off!
