A New Germ Theory

The Atlantic Monthly (Feb,99) has an article called "A New Germ theory". The biologist the article is about thinks that heart disease, cancer, diabetes & some psychiatric illnesses are caused by infections. He approaches his research from a Darwinian perspective. I'd be interested if any of you have read this & how we might apply our understanding of the blood type diet to this germ theory. Jo.
