I used to make myself protein soy shakes as well as drink soy milk to avoid dairy, but in all honesty... not only do I not miss it after being off that for a while, I do recall that while I was ingesting large quantities of soy (I'd heard it's good for female hormonal function), I wasn't doing all that great. Lots of mucus & some bloating.
