The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 8

In Response To: breastfeeding (Ed Cordeiro)
Ed, I'm a B+, so was my mother. Unfortunately, I wasn't breast fed and feel I have suffered unneccesarily as a result.
The ob my mom used dried up her milk and told her to feed me Carnation/Pet milk with Karo syrup!!!!! I have survived but love ice cream as a comfort food. I'm bonded with a cow!
My B type probably could have handled the cow's milk but, the corn syrup was devistating. Set me up for sore throats, viruses, constipation (as an infant) and many visits to the dentists, begining at age 6, for more hurtful intervention. Any docs out there? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???? Or were they?! I would like to resolve this issue and find some peace, but currently am still very angry about their "well intentioned" interventions.
i breast fed my A+ and B+ sons, with dramatic differene. They are much healthier than I ever was. It is interesting how intuition worked for me in this regard. I became a vegetarian shortly after my A+ son was born which was great for him. While pregnant with my B+ son, I started craving meat....I ate it occassionally and began to incorporate some fish into our diet.
I think breast feeding is crucial to a healthy immune system. I wish there were a homeopathic remedy, made from type appropriate "mother's milk" that strengthen the immune systems of us less fortunate. Deborah [b]
