TELL me about it!...I'm in the Army and mess halls are right up there with college cafeterias! Wow, I hear you. Thanks to everyone who posted a response, this has been a struggle for me since day 1. My parents have seen a big change in me, though. I was emaciated and scrawny and pale and sick as a vegan for 12 years. I'm glad they have seen the new healthy, colorFULL me now. But that still won't convince my mom, she loves her "old standbys." Oh well, thanks for some ideas on how to handle....One thing we learn in the army to learn to be leaders is to "lead by example" and it's funny I didn't think of that one myself LOL!!!! That is really great advice...
